An opportunity to lead a committed, professional team of planners within East Lindsey's Development Management team.

The Development Management service at East Lindsey District Council has a positive attitude to growth and is actively helping deliver on place shaping agendas through delivery of much needed homes supported by business and leisure developments.

That growth however, is also pursued in a manner that seeks to safeguard the high quality environment and vitality of the areas market towns and unspoilt villages, its nationally protected rolling landscapes as well as the vibrancy of its thriving seaside resorts.

This role would be to lead a team dealing with a range of issues from large scale housing proposals for the market towns and larger villages, extensive leisure developments along its popular coastline and the delivery of iconic regeneration place based schemes such as the Colonnades cultural hub in Sutton on Sea (previously named by the Sunday Times as one of the best places to live by the sea), the Campus for Future Living in Mablethorpe, various public realm and leisure focused developments and significant green energy proposals.
