We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Coastal Tourism Officer to support the growth and promotion of the visitor economy across the Lincolnshire coast. You’ll help ensure our coast remains a vibrant, high‑quality, and year‑round destination for residents and visitors alike. This is an exciting opportunity to work across Skegness, Mablethorpe and surrounding coastal areas, supporting tourism development, businesses, and partnerships.

You Will

  • Help deliver coastal tourism strategies and action plans
  • Work closely with local businesses, attractions and hospitality partners to enhance the visitor offer
  • Support the development of new tourism products such as trails, itineraries and experiences
  • Promote sustainable tourism and responsible visitor behaviours
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, community groups and partners
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, digital content, and destination promotion
  • Support initiatives that improve visitor experience, accessibility and public spaces
  • Monitor trends, gather insights, and contribute to reports and funding bids

We’re Looking For

  • Experienced in tourism, destination management, or economic development
  • A confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
  • Passionate about coastal communities and visitor economies
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Skilled in marketing, digital content, and using data to inform decisions
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently across different locations
