The Role
As Digital Programme Manager, you will turn our Digital Vision and Strategy into reality. You will lead the delivery of a portfolio of digital projects that streamline operations, enhance customer experience, and enable a digitally confident workforce.
You Will:
- Drive the digital transformation programme, ensuring projects deliver agreed outcomes, benefits, and timelines.
- Act as the technical lead for digital, bridging services and IT infrastructure.
- Support Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) by implementing digital solutions and embedding new ways of working.
- Champion Agile and Lean practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Produce robust business cases with clear ROI and resource implications.
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies and best practice.
About You
- Has extensive experience in digital programme delivery within complex stakeholder environments.
- Brings strong knowledge of digital technologies (cloud, data analytics, AI, CRM) and digital service standards (e.g., GDS principles).
- Is an inspiring leader who can coach teams, influence senior stakeholders, and embed cultural change.
- Demonstrates resilience, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
