Our waste and cleansing service plays a vital role in keeping the district clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Street Sweeper Litter Picker / Driver to join our Direct Services team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Sweeping and litter picking roads, footways and verges.
  • Emptying litter bins in line with cleansing schedules.
  • Driving Council vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes where required.
  • Providing cover for public convenience cleaning.
  • Following health & safety procedures and Council policies.
  • Undertaking training and additional duties as required.
