Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) invites applications for a Public Health Programme Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working.
The Public Health Programme Manager will support the Public Health Senior Management Team to deliver a portfolio of public health programmes and projects set within the strategic context of the public health service plan, encompassing the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy and Council Plan priorities. This work includes management supervision of 4 programme officers to ensure programmes and projects are well managed and deliver outcomes and objectives set within the public health service plan. You will achieve success by forming close partnerships with both internal and external agencies across a variety of sectors. The role will report directly to the Deputy Director of Public Health and within a matrix management arrangement to the Public Health Head of Contracts and Commissioning.
Your Responsibilities
- Play a key role in delivering a wide range of initiatives aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of residents across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, working collaboratively with the team to deliver the Public Health Service Plan and the Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy.
- Drive delivery by managing a high-performing team of Public Health Programme Officers, ensuring contracts are managed effectively and commissioned services achieve measurable outcomes.
