Reporting to the Business Partnerships Manager, you will support the Council’s work with businesses and commercial partners across the borough, contributing to initiatives that strengthen town centres and the local economy.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Act as a professional, customer‑focused point of contact for businesses, partners and members of the public.
  • Support engagement with the borough’s business community, including town centre and partnership activity.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to business‑focused initiatives, events and projects.
  • Assist with promotional activity, including digital and social media engagement.
  • Support financial and governance processes in line with council procedures.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with confidence dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in administration, coordination or business support activity.
  • Interest in marketing, promotion or business engagement, including use of digital channels.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage varied tasks and priorities.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to support activity across the borough, including occasional evenings or weekends.
