ResponsibilitiesThe Development Management Team are responsible for the Council’s role as local planning authority, specifically that in relation to planning application, enforcement and related matters. This role provides specialist surface water, sustainable drainage and flood risk advice in relation to those matters, and influences, promotes and provides technical input to achieve sustainable development through the management of surface water and other forms of flooding and to drive reductions in flood risk and improvements in the natural environment for existing and new communities.
QualificationsExperience in the application of surface water, sustainable drainage and flood risk knowledge within a development management context i.e. statutory planning and development control processes in a Local Planning Authority.
