About the Role
We are seeking a motivated individual to work in our Property Services team to provide a high standard facilities management administration to support the internal Facilities Management service across the council’s operational, commercial and residential property portfolios. As the Team Administrator you will be responsible for providing a facilities management service for the Council’s operational property portfolio, commercial investment portfolio and a small residential portfolio ensuring a customer and commercial focused approach. You will be organised and able to make an impact behind the scenes. This is a fantastic opportunity for career progression. The role will require you to administer the planned and preventative maintenance works schedules, manage reactive requests for repairs and maintenance. You will also liaise with and coordinate service and inspection visits from contractors and ensure contractors submit all relevant health & safety paperwork prior to each visit. Additionally, you will support and contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems.
Qualifications
The ideal person will have excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and confidence using Microsoft Office. Attention to detail and strong data entry skills are also essential. Previous experience is not required. We will offer training to support development of knowledge of the Facilities Management Service. This will include Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM), a recognised qualification. As this is a career band post you will be driven to progress and have the capability to achieve objectives in your development.
