Leading a team of fantastic Environmental Health Officers, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on environmental health across the Canterbury district.

More About This Environmental Health Manager Job Opportunity
In this role, you’ll take on the overall management of the council’s Environmental Health Service. You’ll manage a team of ten fantastic specialists. You will oversee the policies and procedures of the licensing service. You’ll empower and support your team members to take responsibility for individual decision making. You will take an innovative approach in finding solutions to any problems or challenges that arise.
The Working Pattern
Monday to Friday. 37 hours per week. We offer flexible, hybrid working to enable you to work from anywhere in the UK in a way that best works for both you and the council.
About you, the ideal Environmental Health Manager for the job:
Your Qualifications
You must be qualified as an Environmental Health Officer to degree level.
Your experience
You’ll need significant experience in the range of Environmental Health matters within a local authority.
Your skills
You’ll have the skills to empower and support team members to take responsibility for individual decision making. You’ll must be able to take an innovative approach in finding solutions to problems that arise.
