Are you friendly, confident and articulate? We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to join our Customer Services Team. Successful candidates will handle a wide range of customer enquiries via digital channels and over the telephone, covering services such as Waste and Recycling, Housing Benefit and Council Tax, Housing, Planning, and Environmental Health. Once fully trained, there will also be the opportunity to support face‑to‑face enquiries at our Community Help Point in Bexhill. Our Customer Services Team works with complex information in a fast‑paced environment. The role can be challenging, but it is equally rewarding for the right individual. No two days are ever the same.

Applicants should have previous experience in delivering excellent customer service, with the ability to communicate clearly, actively listen, demonstrate empathy, and remain patient while resolving customer queries. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle a wide range of customer enquiries via digital channels and over the telephone, covering services such as Waste and Recycling, Housing Benefit and Council Tax, Housing, Planning, and Environmental Health.
  • Support face‑to‑face enquiries at the Community Help Point in Bexhill (when trained).
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment with complex information to deliver high-quality customer service.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Previous experience delivering excellent customer service with the ability to communicate clearly, actively listen, demonstrate empathy, and remain patient while resolving queries.
  • Full training will be provided.
  • Friendly, confident and articulate; able to communicate and resolve enquiries effectively.
Details:
  • Starting salary £24,847 per annum, with the opportunity to progress up to £27,309 per annum (pro rata for part time).
  • Contract: Part Time, Temporary.
  • Location: Bexhill on Sea.
