Saltash Community School is seeking to appoint a Head of Year for September 2026. If you are passionate about pastoral care, believe in our values of Tenacity, Empathy, Aspiration and Motivation, and can inspire them in others, then this may be the job for you.
We are looking for a strong leader to join our team, who will ensure that students thrive academically and personally. Our year groups have approximately 220 students from a wide and diverse catchment. The successful candidate will take over a cohort and lead them through to the end of Year 11.
Saltash Community School is a co-educational 11‑18 school of over 1200 students including a successful sixth form and incorporating an Area Resource Base; a specialised environment for children with severe and complex learning needs. Saltash is a friendly, caring, supportive and ambitious school with people and relationships at its heart.

Daily working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm.
