Contract: Fixed Term until 23rd July 2027

Salary: Grade D, £24,796 per annum pro rata (pay award pending)

Actual salary: approx. £10,424 per annum

Hours: 18.35 hours per week, term time only plus 3 inset days

To start: 1 September 2026

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support our wonderful children. If you are enthusiastic and have high expectations for children's achievements, we would love to hear from you.

The successful applicant must be flexible, adaptable, able to respond to the needs of our children, and an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills and dedication. We believe the ability to form positive relationships with children is key. You should be able to work using your own initiative and bring forward ideas as well as follow planning given to meet the child’s needs. A good level of literacy, both written and spoken, is also required.

This role will be based in KS1 and include a range of responsibilities including supporting the class, working 1:1 with children with additional needs and leading small group work. Enthusiasm, drive, creativity, initiative, and organisational skills are essential. Experience of working with additional needs is desirable.

Working hours are:

  • 5 mornings per week: 8:50 am – 12:00 pm
  • Thursday afternoon: 12:50 pm – 15:20 pm
