The predicted salary is between 42000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for experienced and engaged Paramedics to join our operational leadership team at Guildford. The successful applicant will be a keen problem solver, a caring individual, and dedicated to providing compassionate leadership to our frontline teams.

In order to apply, you must have successfully completed a minimum of two years as a practicing Experienced Paramedic at Band 6 by the advert closing date. You will have the passion and drive to support your team to deliver the highest levels of patient care and clinical safety.

Interviews will take place over two days. If shortlisted, you will be required to attend an EPRR assessment and ALS on Monday 14th July; only if successful will you be invited to the second part on Thursday 24th July.

Main duties of the job include:

  • Leading an effective operational team.
  • Ensuring the delivery of clinical and non-clinical KPIs at Guildford.
  • Providing effective leadership, clinical and management support for your team.
  • Maintaining team welfare, supporting personal development, and reviewing performance.
  • Performing Operational Command duties that include large scale and major incidents.
  • Acting as a direct line manager for a team of operational staff.

This role will require excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a high degree of personal organisation to determine priorities and handle a range of issues. You will need to be an excellent problem solver, demonstrating flexibility in your approach to the changing priorities the Trust faces on a day-to-day basis.

Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. All successful applicants would be placed automatically at the bottom of the banding unless proven, relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.
