Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in day-to-day operations of the care home.
- Lead staff, manage rotas, and provide mentoring, training, and performance oversight.
- Oversee resident care plans, assessments, admissions, and end-of-life support.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance, including CQC standards, safeguarding, and audits.
- Assist with financial oversight, including budgets, petty cash, and resource management.
- Promote a positive, collaborative culture among the team.
What We're Looking For
- Experienced Deputy Manager or senior care professional with strong leadership skills.
- Confident in medication administration and management.
- Knowledgeable in HR processes, CQC regulations, and safeguarding protocols.
- Highly organised, professional, and passionate about person-centred care.
- Flexible, including 24-hour on-call support and occasional night shifts.
- Excellent communicator with strong administrative skills.
