Responsibilities

  • Deliver inspirational teaching and access to learning across a range of programmes.
  • Liaise closely with the Engineering team and colleagues to ensure the day to day practical and theoretical activities are coordinated appropriately for learners.
  • Prepare and select learning materials to ensure an appropriate range of delivery methods to support learning.
  • Contribute to the planning and review of learning programmes and the curriculum, including the development of key resources.
  • Review and inform learning/assessment plans and targets for learners as required.

Qualifications

  • Relevant training and qualifications in Electrical Engineering to at least level 3.
  • Relevant industrial experience and other relevant related professional qualifications.
  • Evidence of continued professional and personal development.
  • If not already held, attain a teaching qualification within the college’s specified timescale.
  • Maths and English at level 2 or equivalent (grade C/4 GCSE).
