South Devon College offers a supportive environment and opportunities for development. Our Engineering curriculum is growing and we are looking for an Electrical Engineering specialist to join the team.
Responsibilities:- Deliver inspirational teaching and access to learning across a range of programmes;
- Liaise closely with the Engineering team and colleagues to ensure day‑to‑day practical and theoretical activities are coordinated appropriately for learners.
- Prepare and select learning materials to ensure an appropriate range of delivery methods to support learning.
- Contribute to the planning and review of learning programmes and curriculum, including the development of key resources; review and inform learning/assessment plans and targets for learners as required.
- Relevant training and qualifications in Electrical Engineering to at least level 3;
- Relevant industrial experience and other professional qualifications;
- Evidence of continued professional and personal development;
- Attain a teaching qualification within the college’s specified timescale if not already held;
- Maths and English at level 2 or equivalent (grade C/4 GCSE).
- 27 days annual leave including the option to purchase additional holiday days;
