Join us as a Test Technician Apprentice and gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge testing environment.
Training course: Engineering manufacturing technician (level 4)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours 30 minutes a week
Duration: 2 years 3 months
What you'll do at work:
- Perform routine and non-routine testing on components, assemblies, and finished products
- Follow test procedures and document results accurately
- Assist in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of equipment and systems
- Calibrate and maintain test instruments and measurement tools
- Report any product issues or failures to engineering or quality teams
- Support investigations into test failures and non-conformities
- Help improve test methods and suggest ideas for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain an awareness of and adherence to QEHS policies and procedures (Quality, Environment, H&S and IT Security policies)

Training: Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills. Training provider: SOUTH DEVON COLLEGE
Requirements:
- GCSE in Maths (grade 4) and Science (grade 4)
- Preferably a Level 3 qualification in engineering or a related subject or relevant industry experience
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
