Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage a wide range of equipment, instruments, and materials
- Support practical sessions, from band setups to studio‑based work
- Assist in preparing engaging teaching materials and technical setups
- Keep accurate inventories and ensure equipment is organised and accessible
- Carry out minor repairs and keep everything performance‑ready
- Provide day‑to‑day technical support to students and staff
- Ensure all spaces are clean, safe, and ready for action
- Promote and maintain excellent health & safety practices
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance across practical areas
- Monitor stock levels and help manage ordering and purchasing
- Work collaboratively across departments to support wider technician teams
- Maintain confidentiality around assessments and examinations
