Salary: £22,142.95 to £23,275.68 per annum (pro rata of £25,100.00 to £26,384.00), plus excellent benefits.

Contract Type: Fractional, permanent. 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time only).

Location: Paignton, Devon.

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Learner Progress and Attendance Coach to join our dedicated Wellbeing, Participation and Development team. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with learners, tutors, parents and specialist support services to remove barriers to learning, improve attendance and engagement, promote positive wellbeing, and provide the personalised support learners need to succeed.

We're looking for a learner-focused individual with:

  • A Level 3 qualification.
  • Level 2 English and Maths.
  • Ideally a coaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one).

You will have experience supporting young people, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively with learners, tutors and colleagues. You'll be adaptable, able to manage competing priorities, work independently and as part of a team, and maintain accurate records. Most importantly, you'll be committed to raising aspirations, promoting learner wellbeing, and upholding the College's values of equality, safeguarding and child protection.
