Head of Year (Non-Teaching)

This is an exciting opportunity for a colleague who is passionate about supporting young people to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Working closely with tutors, families, teaching staff and external agencies, the successful candidate will lead pastoral provision for a year group, ensuring that every student is supported to achieve their full potential.

The role will include:

• Leading and supporting a team of tutors.
• Promoting excellent attendance, behaviour and engagement.
• Supporting student wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusion.
• Working in partnership with parents and external agencies.
• Developing positive relationships that enable students to succeed.
• Contributing to whole-school pastoral development and improvement.

• Is passionate about pastoral care and student development.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Can build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Is resilient, proactive and committed to improving outcomes for young people.
