We are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Eastridge Manor, our dementia specialist nursing home in Bolney, near Haywards Heath.
Hours: WK 1 - Tuesday 8-6, Friday 8-6
This role will involve:
- Operating Washer/Dryers to launder clothes, linens and resident personal belongings.
- Taking particular care with resident’s personal laundry to prevent accidental damage and present it in a well-ironed state.
- Checking resident’s personal laundry for tears, broken zips or lost buttons and referring to the manager for discussion if a repair is necessary.
- Being aware of colour-coded laundry bags and the temperature required to launder.
- Laundering and ironing home curtains and nets as needed.
- Maintaining a high standard of hygiene throughout the laundry room area.
Package:
- Hourly rate £12.21 weekdays and £12.82 weekends.
