We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on Days at Rookwood Residential Home. Hours - 36hrs per week will include every other weekend.
As a Care Assistant you will be:
- Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
- Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
- Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
- Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
- Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.
More about you:
- Ideally, you’ll have experience in administering medication
- Kind and caring with a positive approach;

- Medication trained or happy to be trained
Package:
- £12.84p/h weekdays
- £13.48 p/h Weekends rising to £13.14 p/h and £13.80 p/h on passing probation
