South Coast Nursing Homes is a family-owned provider of care across East and West Sussex. Each of the 9 registered homes offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night. Here at South Coast Nursing Homes, we cultivate an environment for personal and career growth within our own company. We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team part-time on Days at Abundant Grace, in Seaford. Hours – 30 hrs per week, you must be available to work alternate weekends.

As a Care Assistant you will be:

  • Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
  • Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
  • Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
  • Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
  • Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More about you:

  • Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;

Package: £12.94 p/h weekdays, £13.59 p/h Weekends. Once probation is complete, rising to £13.34 p/h weekdays and £14.01 p/h weekends. Access to your pay as you earn it. Paid breaks on full shifts. Free uniform.
