South Coast Nursing Homes is an established and successful, family owned and managed, care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex. We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex, offering the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours a day, for long and short-term stays.
We are recruiting for an Activities CoâOrdinator to join our team at Eastridge Manor in Bolney, Nr Haywards Heath. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the social and welfare needs of the residents are met on a dayâtoâday basis. You will implement comprehensive and meaningful activities that reflect the needs, capabilities, interests, and skills of the residents in your care.
Hours: 36 hrs per week â 9am - 5pm â Will include alternate weekends
Job responsibilities:
- Help create a varied, stimulating, and meaningful activity programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.
- Ensure that daily and weekly activities/events are clearly displayed.
- Organise and coâordinate one-to-one and group activities for residents, bespoke to their individual interests and choices.
- Help plan and organise an activities programme that progresses over time.

- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Salary: ÂŁ12.21 weekdays and ÂŁ12.82 weekends
