We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team on Nights, at Berkeley Lodge Nursing Home, in Worthing.

Reporting to the nurse in charge and ultimately the Home Manager, this role involves leading a busy, enthusiastic care team carrying out clinical care, assessments and documentation.
Hourly Rates: Weekdays £14.06 – Weekends £15.47
Hours: 36 hrs – including every other weekend
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be involved in supporting Care Assistants on shift to ensure the highest delivery of care is being given and supporting your team. You will be supporting with personal care duties and ensuring all checks have been completed alongside dispensing medication.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the allocation of carers
- Dispensing medication
- Be a support to new members of staff
- Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents
- Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary
- Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care
