We operate nine homes across East and West Sussex and recently opened a new nursing home in central Worthing. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24/7, for long‑ and short‑term stays.
Job Details
Position: Receptionist (Fernbank Residential Home, Worthing)
Hours: 25 hours per week – 8am – 1pm, Monday to Friday.
Employment type: Contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide front‑of‑house receipt and resident support.
- Answer incoming calls and take accurate messages.
- Provide necessary administrative support to the manager and team.
- Arrange visits for families and residents.
- Create daily planners.
- Arrange transport.
- Liaise with agencies to book care staff as required.
Qualifications
- Confidence in approach.
- Ability to think on feet and under pressure when dealing with multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication with residents, families, managers and directors.
- Good IT skills (Excel, Word, MS Office). Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Problem solver and solution provider, quick learner.
