Job Description
South Coast Nursing Homes is an established and successful, family owned and managed, care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex.
We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. We have 414 beds with the recent opening of a new Nursing home in central Worthing. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night, for long and short-term stays.
South Coast Nursing Homes are recruiting a Receptionistto join the team at our team at Fernbank Residential Home in Worthing
Hours: 25 hrs average per week – 8am -1pm – Monday to Friday.
Suitable applicants would have reception experience and the ability to support in administration tasks.
Duties:
- Providing front of house reception and resident support as appropriate.
- Answering incoming calls and taking accurate messages and passing to the relevant person.
- Dealing with enquires and facilitating visits from prospective residents
- Providing necessary administrative support to the Manager and team.
- Arranging visits for families and residents.
- Arranging transport
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confidence in their approach
- An ability to think on your feet and under pressure when dealing with multiple tasks
- Excellent communication with residents, families, managers and directors
- Good with their IT skills, such as Excel, Word, MS Office etc. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- A problem solver and solution provider as well as being a quick learner
