An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Care in one of our residential homes, Fernbank in Worthing. In this role you will be supporting the manager to ensure the safe and effective running of the care home while complying with regulation, legislation and policy relevant to the sector. You will be responsible for the organisation and day-to-day supervision of the care team to ensure all people using the service are treated with dignity and respect and the highest standards of care are achieved. You will also develop the care team by mentoring, supervising and assessing competency and communicate any concerns with the Manager and the Regional Operations Manager.
Duties Include:
- Supporting the manager to ensure the safe and effective running of the care home while complying with regulation, legislation and policy relevant to the sector;
- Organisation and day-to-day supervision of the care team to ensure all people using the service are treated with dignity and respect and the highest standards of care are achieved;
- Developing the care team by mentoring, supervising and assessing competency;
- Fostering relationships with families to ensure that they are kept informed of all changes to the residents’ physical and emotional well-being.

Package:
- £14.56 p/h weekdays
- £15.28 Weekends - You will need to be able to work every other weekend
