South Coast Nursing Homes is a family‑owned provider of care across East and West Sussex. Each of the 9 registered homes offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night. We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team part‑time on Days at Abundant Grace, in Seaford. Hours – 30 hrs per week, you must be available to work alternate weekends.
Week 1: Tuesday 8‑8, Wednesday 2‑8, Friday 8‑8.
Week 2: Wednesday 2‑8, Saturday 8‑8, Sunday 8‑8.
As a Care Assistant You Will Be:
- Providing high‑quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
- Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
- Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
- Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
- Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

- Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector; however we will provide all training you need to be successful in the role;

Package:
- £12.94 p/h weekdays
- £13.59 p/h Weekends
- Once probation is complete, rising to £13.34 p/h weekdays and £14.01 p/h weekends;
