We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on Days at Berkeley Lodge, our specialist Dementia Nursing Home in Worthing.
Hours – Full Time – 36hrs per week – 8am – 8pm will include alternate weekends
Responsibilities
- Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
- Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
- Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
- Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
- Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.
More About You
- Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
