We are looking for an organised and committed individual with a professional approach to join us as a Home Administrator at our Residential Home Rookwood in Burgess Hill.

Hours: 25 hrs per week – 8am to 1pm, Monday to Friday.

More About The Role

You will provide administrative support to the home, enabling the care team to focus on high‑quality resident care and ensuring the smooth running of all administrative functions. Responsibilities include:

  • Handling telephone enquiries, admission and occupancy records, monitoring resident accounts, invoicing and financial management tasks.
  • Administering schedules/rota’s for the home and monitoring the time and attendance system.
  • Processing payroll and HR information accurately and timely, including new starters, contract changes, leavers, sickness and other absences.
  • Ensuring correct staffing levels at all times.
About You

Experience in an administrative role in a busy environment, with strong multi‑tasking and prioritisation skills. Experience working on schedules/rota’s would be desirable. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, visitors to the home and staff. Confident in using Microsoft Office and in‑house packages. Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with the manager and deputy manager.

Package
