South Coast Nursing Homes are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Eastridge Manor, our dementia specialist Nursing home in Bolney, nr Haywards Heath.
Hours:
- WK 1 - Tuesday 8-6, Friday 8-6
- WK 2 - Tuesday 8-6, Friday 8-6, Saturday 8-6, Sunday 8-6
This role will involve:
- Operate Washer/Dryers to launder clothes, linens and resident personal belongings.
- Take particular care with resident’s personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state.
- Check resident’s personal laundry for tears, broken zips or lost buttons and refer to manager for discussion if a repair is necessary.
- Be aware of colour coded laundry bags and the temperature required to launder.
- Launder and iron home curtains and nets as needed.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene throughout the laundry room area.
Package:
- Hourly rate £12.76 weekdays and £13.40 weekends.
