We are looking for an organised and committed individual with a professional approach, to join us as a Home Administrator at our Residential Home Rookwood in Burgess Hill.

Hours: 25 hrs p/w - 8am - 1pm - Monday to Friday

More about the role: You will be providing administrative support to the home so that our team can focus on providing high quality care to our residents and ensure the smooth running of all administrative functions within the home. The administrator duties include handling telephone enquiries, admission and occupancy records, monitoring of resident accounts, invoicing and financial management tasks. You will also be responsible for administration of the schedules/rota's for the home and monitoring of the time and attendance system and the accurate and timely processing of payroll and HR information (including new starters, changes to contracts, leavers, sickness and other absence) so that employees are paid correctly. This will also include making sure that the home is covered with the correct staffing levels at all times.

About you: This role is varied and fast paced and the ideal candidate will have experience of working in an administration role in a busy environment and be used to multi-tasking and prioritisation. Experience in working on Schedules/Rota's would be desirable. Have strong communication skills both oral and written, along with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, visitors to the home and staff. Confident approach in using Microsoft Office and in house packages. You will have strong organisation skills and have the ability to work collaboratively with the manager and deputy manager.
