The Operations Manager Response and Voids will develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that SCDC Housing complies with and manages change to our obligations in respect of industry regulations, regulator requirements, adheres to our policies and national standards. In all areas of building safety. At this time we do not have any in scope buildings of higher risk building of 18m or more but may do in the future. The role will involve working closely with the Senior Management Team and taking a proactive role in monitoring regulation changes or introductions to ensure we remain compliant in all areas, be a key contact for all departments and colleagues, and providing input into the development and maintenance of effective policies associated with meeting our obligations. The role will involve responsibility for the management of the Repairs Team, Main Contractors, accreditations, internal processes and KPIs. You will be responsible Reporting to management in a clear and accurate manner. The Operations Manager Response and Voids will lead on day to day repairs, Void refurbishments and relet service activities and delivering the key departmental objectives. Also assisting the Service manager and Operations Manager – Planned Works with the general management of the department.
