Are you passionate about improving homes and making a difference in communities? We’re looking for three Surveyors – Energy & Stock Condition to help shape the future of housing in South Cambridgeshire.

What You’ll Do
- Carry out Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), stock condition and HHSRS surveys
- Inspect properties pre- and post-works, diagnosing issues and specifying repairs
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and housing standards
- Collaborate with contractors, tenants, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and budget
- Use data systems to maintain accurate records and drive service improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Qualification in a trade occupation (Level 3 or above)
- Membership of CIOB, RICS, ASCP (or working towards)
- DEA qualified (SAP 10 methodology) or willing to train
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, energy efficiency, and housing law
- Excellent communication, IT, and project management skills
- Full driving licence and business insurance

South Cambridgeshire District Council is a four-day week employer. We expect our colleagues to get 100% of their work done, in around 85% of their contracted hours, for 100% of their pay. All Council staff will be able to opt-in to this way of working under a Productivity Policy. We are a four-day week employer as it helps us attract and keep talented colleagues and improves services by reducing our reliance on costly agency workers. It also supports improved health and wellbeing.
