Overview
Join to apply for the Customer Service Advisor role at South Bay Center for Counseling/Community Development.
Location: Remote (UK-based), Candidates must be from Dorset, Somerset or Wiltshire — training will be held locally.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, with occasional Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
Start Date: Mid/Late October
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and customer queries with a professional and helpful approach.
- Process new orders, order amendments, rebates, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with courier partner (DHL) to track deliveries, resolve delays, manage product enquiries, and handle complaints.
- Build a thorough understanding of the website and product range to confidently support customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order updates.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and positive customer journey.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role (either phone-based or face-to-face).
- Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone, with a clear and friendly manner.
- Confident using computers, online portals, and business systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when inputting customer and order data.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
- A flexible team player who can adapt to changing priorities.
- An interest in food and cooking is desirable but not essential.
