We are seeking a dynamic and learner‑focused Visiting Tutor in Counselling to deliver high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment across counselling programmes at South Bank Colleges and Academies (SBA/SBC). This role will focus on supporting students to develop the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professional behaviours required for progression within the counselling profession, while ensuring an engaging and inclusive learning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment across counselling programmes.
- Support students to develop theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professional behaviours required for progression within the counselling profession.

Qualifications:
- A degree in counselling‑related courses or equivalent professional qualification.
- Must be CPCAB approved lecturer in counselling.
- A recognised teaching qualification (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) or equivalent) with Level 5 subject specialism.
- A Literacy/English, ICT and a Numeracy/Maths qualification at Level 2.
- Experience planning and developing curriculum programmes within the subject discipline.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Teaching experience and evidence of continuous professional development.
- Knowledge and experience of the animation curriculum and willingness to work extensively with employers.
