South Bank Colleges is looking for a skilled and proactive Media Technician to join our Creative & Digital Industries team at the London South Bank Technical College campus.
This is a hands-on role supporting practical teaching and learning by maintaining workshop spaces, equipment, and materials to the highest standards.
You will play a key part in creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for staff and students.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate must have the following
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant creative arts discipline.
- Recent commercial experience within relevant subject area.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software or equivalent software.
- Experience working in a TV studio/broadcast environment/NDI tools.
- Experience working in a photography darkroom or familiar with analogue processes.
- Strong working knowledge of health & safety and equal opportunities legislation.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn sector-specific software.
- Commitment to safeguarding and a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure.
