We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Engineering (x4 1FTE & x1 0.6FTE) with a passion for inspiring students and developing their technical expertise in the engineering field. Your role will involve designing engaging lessons, setting clear and achievable learning objectives, tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback, and creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages hands-on learning and real-world application.

We are particularly interested in hearing from Lecturers with the following background:

  • Mechanical Engineering and Product Design
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Mechatronics Engineering

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • A recognised Level 3 or Level 5 teaching qualification as well as subject specialism in Engineering.
  • Experience of teaching Engineering effectively in a further education college or significant experience within the sector.
  • Willingness to work flexibly to deliver a student-focused curriculum (including working up to two evenings a week).
  • Commitment to an inclusive education.
