We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven apprentice to work within the college bursary team. This role will focus on ensuring that students have applied for their bursary, have had their applications assessed and ongoing support is given throughout the academic year, ensuring timelines are met. As an administrator at South Bank Colleges, you will work as part of a team and will be able to develop your administration skills, increase your knowledge in bursary funding, learn how to work with colleagues and students from across the college and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting our learners.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- English and Maths at GCSE grades 5/C or above
- Administration experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ideally have experience of working within further education
- Attention to detail, and accuracy when working on tasks
- Experience of using Excel, Word, email and willing to learn other computer software platforms
