JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide Civil and Structural Engineering Services to the Building Standards Service.
This role involves the reviewing civil & structural engineering calculations, as well as providing support and advice on civil and structural engineering matters in relation to the functions of the Building Standards as a regulatory service.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undertake a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
