REQUIREMENTS
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. If you wish further information on the PVG Scheme you can visit the Disclosure Scotland website at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk. Please note you may be required to meet PVG costs.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The grade of this post is Level 5 plus a Non Core (10%). The work style for this post is Frontline worker. Various working patterns available:
- 40-hour posts (Full Time) (Dayshift & Backshift)
- 21-hour posts (Part Time) (Dayshift / Backshift)
- Supply posts

In addition, please note that sponsorship is not available for Supply post. Please note there is a 10% non-core allowance included for backshift posts only. Various working locations available: Maybole & Girvan, Prestwick, Troon, Ayr, South Ayr, North Hospital Discharge Team. Successful candidates will be expected to travel efficiently and may be required to work out with their normal work area. You may be provided with a fleet vehicle, whilst on shift; more information can be provided at interview. SSSC Registration is a requirement for these posts and renewal fees will now be covered.
