JOB DESCRIPTION
We have an exciting opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic practitioner to join the central Early Years team as Childcare Supervisor.
This post is an opportunity for the suitable candidate to develop their leadership skills and support the work of the Out Of School Care (OOSC) service.
The post holder would work alongside the OOSC Officer to support the management of afterschool services and holiday childcare.
The Childcare Supervisor post is a 25 hr per week, 52week post until March 2026 and would be suitable for an EYP who is looking to broaden their range of skills.
Current permanent members of staff are welcome to apply for the post as a secondment opportunity.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
