Under the direction of the Team Leader, Sport & Physical Activity develop Community Sports Hubs (CSH) in specific areas of South Ayrshire, and develop strong, sustainable, safe and inclusive sports clubs that support local communities and provide a pathway for people to participate, progress and go on to achieve in sport.

This post is offered initially as a two-year fixed-term contract, with funding in place to support a potential extension of up to five years in total.

REQUIREMENTS

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Interviews for this post are scheduled for 30/06/2026. This post is temporary until 30/06/2028. The grade of this post is Level 9. The work style for this post is Agile worker. The successful candidate will primarily work from home with occasional travel within the South Ayrshire area. Frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service. The work pattern is: Various with regular evening and weekend work.
