Under the direction of the Practice Development Officer for Mandatory Training, carry out all SVQ Assessments within the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP). The role will also require the delivery and development of some mandatory training requirements for Social Care staff. You will play a key role in leading and supporting staff who require completion of Scottish Vocational Qualifications essential to their role in Care at Home/Home Care and Children's Houses. You will support South Ayrshire's Health and Social Care Partnership in professionalizing frontline Social Care roles and supporting staff to meet the conditions of SSSC registration, ensuring all Learning & Development opportunities are set within the context of legislation, policy, procedures, standards, values and SSSC Codes of Conduct.

REQUIREMENTS

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. The grade of this post is Level 7. The work style for this post is Hybrid Worker. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office, and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
