Job Description What is the role? To ensure the wellbeing of individuals living in the community by supervising, maintaining and developing the standards of care and practice of reablement staff. To provide care to individuals in community in a flexible, efficient and effective manner which enables them to live as independent a life as possible. The post holder will also play a key role in supporting and promoting a reablement approach across the service. The post holder will assist the Supervisor (reablement) in on-going developments of the service to support the change agenda associated with supporting individuals with complex needs being supported within the community. Extra Information: The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 7; the hourly rate is from £17.28 to £18.70 and the annual salary is from £31,536 to £34,127. This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
