We are seeking to appoint a full time Assessor/Trainer in Roofing

Aims of Job/Job Purpose
- Train, assess and support roofing vocational training programs both flat and pitched
- Manage a case load of students throughout their period of study
- Ensure timely completion of apprenticeship, adult and other learners
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Working with students to assess knowledge and performance on College and/ or employer
- Work with college staff to develop and deliver flexible programmes to meet identified needs
- Assist in the monitoring, review and evaluation of provision in line with the College\\\’s Quality Assurance
- Undertake the enrolment, registration and if required the Basic Skills screening of learners
- Assist with the marketing and promotion of college programmes as required
- Fulfil the role of the internal verifier as required, including the training, development and supporting
- Complete detailed records of student\\\’s achievement
- Manage a case load of students throughout the duration of their course (caseloads will be determined by the divisional director)
- Report to the assistant director on students progression, achievement and success as and when required
- Liaise and work with exams administrators as and when required to ensure data processing requirements are met
- Attend regular standardization meetings in accordance with the college\\\’s quality assurance

The College has four faculties and each has a Faculty Head, Deputy Faculty Head and a number of Heads of School. Each faculty will work within a remit specific to their area. The remit will outline the key focus areas for each faculty and will be subject to review by the College to reflect the goals, aims and strategic objectives and priorities within FE and the College.
Curriculum departments are grouped into faculties. The Head of School has a primary responsibility for the specific department and of individuals within a team, while the Faculty Head holds primary responsibility for the whole faculty and its targets.
