We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Liverpool (L19). This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide tailored support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in the classroom and through targeted interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
  • Assist with the implementation of EHCP targets and behaviour support plans
  • Support students' emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Liaise with teaching staff, SENCO, and parents/carers as required
  • Provide pastoral support and act as a positive role model
