Are you a hands-on and reliable individual who takes pride in keeping environments clean, safe, and well maintained? We are working with a Tenant Management Organisation (TMO) in Lambeth, seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join their friendly estate services team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
The Role
As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of residential estates and communal areas. You will carry out general cleaning, basic maintenance, and health and safety checks while providing a helpful and approachable presence for residents. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain communal areas, bin stores, walkways, and outdoor spaces.
- Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs such as painting, replacing fixtures, and signage.
- Report repairs and health & safety issues promptly to the relevant teams.
- Support contractors and residents on site when required.
- Lock/unlock premises and ensure estate security procedures are followed.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and uphold a positive image of the estate.
