The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join our team, working with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role involves delivering highly personalised learning while supporting pupils’ physical, medical, and communication needs in a safe and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with complex needs
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP outcomes
  • Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and medical staff
  • Support pupils with physical and medical needs, including the use of specialist equipment
  • Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Lead and deploy teaching assistants effectively
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with pupils with physical disabilities and/or complex needs
  • Understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and adaptive approaches
